THE EXPERIENCE
THE EXPERIENCE
Sail between Luxor and Aswan, exploring some of Egypt’s greatest ancient sites with an expert guide before returning to the quiet of the Nile. With only 22 cabins, it feels intimate and personal rather than like a conventional cruise. Days are about temples and tombs, but some of the best moments are simply sitting on deck watching life along the riverbanks pass by.

Hayley's Take
hAYLEY'S TAKE
I think the Nile should be part of the experience of Egypt, not just a way of getting from one temple to another. I’d want to spend the morning exploring somewhere incredible, then have a few hours back on board doing absolutely nothing except watching the river go by. The small size of the Philae makes that feel much more special.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Cairo → Luxor → The Nile → Aswan I’d start with 2–3 nights in Cairo, then fly to Luxor and join the Philae for the journey south to Aswan. If you have longer, I’d add the Red Sea afterwards for a few days of diving and doing very little.
