Milele is extravagant, but what I love is that the extravagance buys you freedom rather than formality. Having your own villa, guide and vehicle means nobody is waiting for you and you’re never waiting for anybody else. If you want to stay with a leopard for another hour, you can. If the kids have had enough, you go home. For a family or group celebrating something really special, this is about as extraordinary as safari gets.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Arusha → Serengeti → Zanzibar I'd spend a night near Arusha to recover from the flight, then fly into Grumeti for 4 nights at Milele. I'd end with 4–5 nights on the beach in Zanzibar, which is the perfect wind-down after safari.
