A secluded sanctuary tucked into the rainforest of Koh Lanta, where a sweeping beach, spectacular sunsets and genuine Thai hospitality create an effortless escape that feels wonderfully removed from the world.

THE EXPERIENCE
THE EXPERIENCE
Pimalai is somewhere you can really settle in. Spend the morning diving at Koh Haa, kayak along the coast, head into the mangroves or explore Koh Lanta, then come back for a long lunch, the spa or an afternoon on the beach. Despite being a larger resort, the 100-acre setting means it never feels hemmed in. The forest and landscape are a huge part of the experience.

Hayley's Take
hAYLEY'S TAKE
Pimalai is my kind of Thailand: lush, laid-back and with far more to it than a gorgeous beach. I love that you can dive some brilliant sites, disappear off exploring Koh Lanta and then come back to beautiful food, a spa and a sunset drink. I also love that it feels like a resort that genuinely values the island and the sea around it, rather than simply benefiting from them

SUGGESTED ITINERARY
I’d have 3 nights in Bangkok, then slow everything down with 5–7 nights at Pimalai. From there, either fly home or finish with a couple of nights eating your way around Singapore.
