Hidden in a forested bay on Türkiye's Turquoise Coast and reached only by boat, Yazz feels wonderfully removed from the world beyond it. Days revolve around the sea, beautifully simple Mediterranean food and finding somewhere beneath the trees to do very little at all. It's polished without being showy, secluded without being isolated, and exactly the kind of place we'd happily disappear to for a few days.

The experience begins before you arrive, crossing the turquoise water from Fethiye until Yazz's hidden bay finally comes into view. From there, days are deliberately loose: swim straight from the beach, take an e-foil across the bay, head out among the 12 Islands by private boat, follow an ancient Lycian trail or simply settle in for a very long lunch by the sea. Come sunset, cocktails and dinner take over.

There is no road into Yazz. The final twenty minutes are by boat from Fethiye, crossing the Mediterranean until the secluded bay appears between the forested hills, making the arrival part of the experience.

hAYLEY'S TAKE
This is exactly what I want from the Turkish coast: somewhere beautiful and luxurious, but where the setting still does most of the talking. I love that you can't simply drive up to Yazz: arriving across the water immediately changes the pace. I'd combine a few days here with a boat and make the coastline itself as much a part of the trip as the hotel.
