THE EXPERIENCE

THE EXPERIENCE

Few places put you quite so dramatically into the landscape as Longitude 131°. From your luxury tented pavilion, Uluru dominates the horizon, changing colour with the light and creating a constant connection to Australia’s extraordinary Red Centre. Days are spent exploring Uluru and Kata Tjuta with expert guides, discovering ancient landscapes and learning about the culture and stories of the Aṉangu people. Back at the lodge, everything is beautifully considered: exceptional Australian food and wine, an intimate spa and remarkable experiences beneath some of the clearest night skies on earth.

Hayley's Take

hAYLEY'S TAKE

Longitude 131° is exactly why I love experiential luxury. The tents are beautiful, but that isn’t really the point: you’re here for the privilege of experiencing Uluru and Kata Tjuta in a much more intimate way. I love that so much is included, from brilliant guiding to sunset drinks and dinner under the stars. It makes somewhere already extraordinary feel even more special.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Start with 3 nights in Sydney, then fly into the Red Centre for 3–4 nights at Longitude 131°. That gives you time for Uluru, Kata Tjuta and the lodge's signature experiences without rushing. Then fly north for 4–5 nights on the Great Barrier Reef, swapping red desert for tropical coastline.
