WHY IT MADE THE COLLECTION

WHY IT MADE THE COLLECTION

Cap St Georges is bigger than many of our usual Canopy hotels, but its connection to western Cyprus earns it a place. Set beside the Akamas Peninsula, it brings together serious resort luxury with private yacht trips, coastal horse rides, Cypriot food and a genuine sense of place. Its own Perivoli garden supplies fresh Mediterranean produce, while the architecture and centuries-old olive trees keep Cyprus firmly in the picture.

THE EXPERIENCE

THE EXPERIENCE

This is the Cyprus I'd want people to discover beyond the obvious beach holiday. Take a yacht around the wild Akamas coastline, swim beneath sea caves, ride horses beside the Mediterranean and head inland for mountain villages and wineries. Back at Cap St Georges, afternoons disappear between the enormous spa and sea before dinner built around produce grown on the resort's own farm.

Hayley's Take

hAYLEY'S TAKE

I know Cap St Georges is larger than most hotels I'd normally choose for Canopy, but this is one of my exceptions. It's incredibly polished, yet you're right beside one of the wildest parts of Cyprus. I'd use it as a base to actually explore (boat, horses, villages, food) rather than spending a week moving between the pool and beach.
